The Coscojero has a high ported curved mouthpiece with a central roller
filling the port. This roller applies tongue, bar and poll pressure
which makes it an effective polo bit. This is a very good bit for stronger horses.
The mouth piece is made from blue sweet iron, because it:
oxidizes easily
encourages salivation
helps bit acceptance
is warm and sweet
The Polo Pelham is supplied with stubby curb hooks and a flat link polo curb chain.
